Story
History is particularly lively here in Central Switzerland where in 1291 the Swiss Confederation was founded. There is mention of the “Weisses Rossli” as early as 1559. In 1865, King Ludwig II of Bavaria lodged at this very hotel. From here, he wanted to see the land of Wilhelm Tell and the Rütli. Brunnen offered itself as an ideal starting point.
